I'd like to share this powerful documentary about how big industry is controlling the world's food sources. It provides a sobering message to us all, but only if we pay attention and decide to do our part to create change:


Here's the story in a nutshell.


The Industrial Revolution created machines to help build products faster and cheaper, creating factory jobs that moved much of the population away from farms into cities. Machines also mechanized many farm tasks, requiring less manpower on the farm and the ability to raise more food more economically. Essentially, many farm jobs became easier to do with less people, at the same time that factories created jobs for former farm workers.
